These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Cloud Audit Check (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent.
Cloud Audit Check performs read-only security and compliance assessments of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments you connect. It reports configuration findings, framework alignment (including the ASD Essential Eight), and remediation guidance.
The service is read-only: it does not change your tenant configuration, remediate issues on your behalf, or write to your environment.
You must be authorised to connect and assess the tenants and subscriptions you add. You are responsible for creating the app registration, granting consent, and maintaining the read-only permissions and RBAC roles the service uses.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the actions of users you invite to your organisation.
Findings, scores, and Essential Eight maturity levels are automated assessments based on the configuration visible to the service. They reflect the tenant state at the time of assessment and are provided as guidance. They are not an audit certification, legal advice, or a guarantee of security or compliance.
Maturity levels are limited to what a cloud audit can verify and are capped accordingly; full Essential Eight assessment also requires endpoint-level evidence outside the service’s visibility. You remain responsible for your own security and compliance decisions.
You must not use the service to assess environments you are not authorised to assess, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or use it in violation of applicable law.
Paid plans are billed as described on our pricing page. Plans are month-to-month unless stated otherwise, and you may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You retain ownership of your data; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you.
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid for it in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
